THE CLASSIC AMERICAN BOARDWALK

Just one block east of the Sunburst Motel and you will find yourself on the Seaside Heights Classic American Boardwalk. Go "walk the boards"! Close to a mile of arcades, games, food and amusements awaits you. The boardwalk offers something for everyone, adults and kids alike.

Be sure to visit the thrill rides on Casino Pier including the NEW Hydrus roller coaster and giant ferris wheel.  How abut a round of mini golf? or a spin on the famous 1910 Dr. Floyd L. Moreland Carousel?, a historic landmark housed on Casino Pier.  Fun fact: the Carousel received a Historic Preservation Award in 1991 and is one of only two surviving American-made classic carousels in the State of New Jersey.  

 

Hungry?  Get a slice of famous boardwalk pizza, sausage sandwiches, cheese steaks, soft serve ice cream, fried oreos, zeppoles... Looking for more than just a slice? There are great restaurants and bars on the boardwalk as well. From fresh seafood to "not your average taco" there is something for everyone's taste. Feeling full just reading this?  Grab a bench and rest while watching the weekly fireworks spectacular on Wednesday nights.

FREE EVENTS

There is lots of fun to be found within walking distance from the Sunburst Motel every day and night in Seaside Heights. Is music your thing? Check out the Boardwalk concert series, or the Beach concert series. Prefer some ambiance with you music? How does acoustic entertainment while sitting around a bonfire on the beach sound?  Seaside Heights has family friendly events throughout the entire year!  Family fun nights, movies on the beach, camping on the beach nights, even a Dog Royalty Day . Big fan of street festivals? Seaside has plenty of those in the lineup. EXPLORE THE BOULEVARD

Just a few blocks away Sunburst Motel you will find many great restaurants on the Boulevard. Prefer a bit more excitement? "Close but not too close" (too keep you awake at night) there are lounges, bars and clubs, there is even a nano brewery (opening soon.)
